engine yard is back, tweaking contrast

Looks like Engine Yard’s problems are fixed, so Github is back up. Rough day for them and definitely brings back memories of rough days on Second Life

In other news, tweaked the contrast a bit. Programmers seem to broadly split into %{border:1px gray solid; color:white; background-color:blue}light text on dark background% and %{border:1px gray solid; color:black; background-color:white}dark text on light background% camps — ok, we also split on emacs versus vi, command line versus ide, and perl verus python — and I have always preferred %{border:1px gray solid; color:white; background-color:blue}light on dark%.

Combine that with the MBA’s amazing screen, and I didn’t realize how hard the site was to read.
