There was a story on NPR this morning where Norman Gant, the executive director of the Ob/Gyn certifying board, noted that he had “dictated a letter.”

Dictated?

I know that living and working in Bay Area/Silicon Valley means that my world is a technology-infused bubble, but dictating?
