SLU

Wired News’ Daniel Terdiman has a story about university classes using Second Life. SL donates accounts and virtual land to universities and has had many classes in world since Alpha. UT Austin’s Anne Beamish and Trinity University’s Aaron Delwiche are both featured in the article. Students have been responsible for some of SL’s most interesting moments, including the group of UT Austin luddites who argued that flying was destroying the fabric of society and that everyone should walk instead!
